ZOO Quest

What do you know about your local Zoo? There are many different types of zoo animals. Today we are going to learn about some of these animals, and other things offered to the public. We will recall our visit to the zoo.

Task:

The children will be in groups of four and will independently answer one question by looking at the pictures provided. They will the make a collage as a group project. Finally the will present the animals they found in there group.

Lets find the answer

1.What is tall with a long neck and have puzzle shapes on its fur?

2. What has a long nose, big ears and a tail?

3.What has fins and lives in water?

4.What has black fur, two legs, and two arms?

The Process

In groups of four children, and then they will be given a number to the question they will answer. The child will look through the list of web site to find the answer. The children will the have the teacher print off their answer, so the children can make a picture collogue as a group. They will cut and paste their pictures on a sheet of paper. Finally they will present the animal they found in their group.

Conclusion

The children at the end of this process will be able to
identify some animals found at the local zoo.
