We will be using the web, books, and zoo trip in are hunt for zoo
animals. Therefore, open up your
mind to a new way of looking at Zoo Animals.
This is an activity is for children 3 to 6 yrs old.

Springboard Trip to Zoo and
read book about animals
What
teacher is to do to plan trip to zoo, read the children book about zoo
animals and show the children how to do the project on the computer
What students are to do go on trip to zoo, listen to story and
recall animals from books, make a picture of zoo animals
Closure:
Circle time show the children could tell about their picture

In doing this activity the children will be able to recall and recognize
their numbers.

In the morning sing a number song and have pictures of new number all over the
classroom
What teacher is to do? The teacher is to help children sing number
song. Then help children recall the numbers laying around the classroom, have
all the materials ready for the activity. The teacher will help the children
recall the numbers. Then have circle time to run activity.
What students are to do? The
child will try to identify new number, recall all the numbers already on
calendar, and help sing the number song. Then
draw and color a picture of numbers.
